# Fronius Argeno

Modbus TCP must be enabled on the inverter (Configuration → Communication → Ethernet → Modbus TCP/UDP). For the grid meter see the "Fronius Smart Meter IP" template — the Argeno uses the Smart Meter IP as a standalone network device.
