# OpenEVSE

Requires OpenEVSE WiFi firmware 4.1.9 or later. evcc controls the charger through its claims API;
the manual override on the charger (the On/Off mode on its dashboard) takes precedence over evcc; tap Auto to release it. If evcc is removed, delete its claim
(client 262145) in the charger's web UI or via `DELETE /claims/262145`.
1p/3p phase switching (`phases1p3p`) only works with modified 3-phase controllers that answer the `$G7`/`$S7` RAPI commands; stock OpenEVSE controllers do not.
