# Energy-Charts Market Price

Source: https://docs.evcc.io/en/tariffs/energy-charts-market-price

Day-ahead forecast of energy prices on the exchange. Provided by Fraunhofer ISE. No prior registration for [api.energy-charts.info](https://api.energy-charts.info/) necessary. Can be used for dynamic electricity tariffs, for example, where the supplier does not yet offer a price forecast on the customer interface. The API always returns prices in EUR/MWh, even for bidding zones with a different local currency (e.g. DK1, DK2, HU, NO2, PL, SE4). For these zones the exchange rate must be applied manually via the `formula` field (e.g. `price * 11.2`).

Supported features: EU
